As The Days Go By...

As The Days Go By. We recently sang a song in church that I had never heard before and, oh, did I love it! Are you familiar with it? I believe in the love of God,. It is an orphan's wildest dream. It is a narrow little road,. It is an ever-widening desert stream. It is portrayed in the bread and wine;. So let it fortify my bones. It is more than just a sign,. It is the fountain from that desert stone. Oh I, and I- I will leave this road. Oh I, and I- I will leave this road. It is the narrow not the broad.

As The Days Go By...: What was good in January...

http://www.jamiehawthorn.blogspot.com/2014/01/what-was-good-in-january.html

As The Days Go By. What was good in January. Despite the illnesses and maladies in our household, January was an enjoyable month. Liam's interest in arts and crafts has really taken off. He spends every free minute "markering" and "scissoring." We were thoroughly impressed with last evening's renditions of a pig and "the colors on TV." Might I add, the extreme wastefulness of creativity is astounding. Daniel has been in mega crunch mode with his start-up, eduschedu. And The Wednesday Daughters. Or, I don...

As The Days Go By...: May 2013

As The Days Go By. What's in a Name? I always knew people would have differing opinions of Maggie's given name, Magnolia, but it was never more obvious than it was in the hospital this past week. We had so many people coming and going in our hospital room and each had a different, and strong, reaction to her name. So this is Magnolia? Yes, but you may call her Maggie." "Oh, good; I like that SO much better than 'Magnolia.'". So this is Magnolia? I LOOOOVVVEEEE that name! She's sure to be a Dead fan.".

As The Days Go By. A lot of people have wondered why we are moving. There are a number of reasons. We both love California and have always said that we'd love to live there for a time. We have both only ever lived in Delaware County, except for during college. Finally, there are a zillion great job opportunities for someone with Daniel's background and qualifications in the Bay Area- notsomuch in Philadelphia. If you are a praying sort of person, please pray for us that we. California, Here I Come. Birdi...

Journey: January 2012

http://jessicapaige.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 26, 2012. Clearing of the Fog. I have been in such a fog since Gramma. Died There are even times that I have forgotten that she isn't here. That might seem silly, but she and I were pretty close. We talked, for the most part, at least once a week. I have woken up in the morning a few times and thought, "I need to call Gramma. So happy that she is with Jesus. So happy that she is able to see my Grampa. I am still mourning my Gramma. Though. And that is ok. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Can You Hear It? If anyone has had any kind of conversation with me recently, it's a good possibility that I have mentioned the book, Birthing the Miraculous, by Heidi Baker. It's been hard not to! But for now, the most soul satisfying experience that I can have, is learning to be super still. To lean into him so that I can hear his heart beat. So that I can hear his voice. Wednesday, October 19, 2011. My baby is 4 months old today. Crazy that he's that big already. I mean, is it seriously almost November? Wow Well, this month Isaac has definitely grown :). 1 He is super smiley. All the time. And he's the kind of person that smiles with his eyes. And what an awesome laugh he has. It's the kind of laugh that makes me laugh too. 3 He loves his toes. Last week he started to grab his toes while laying on his back. I'm pretty sure they are one of his favorites right now. Wednesday, October 26, 2011. This is my now THREE. Year old. Can you believe it? It's honestly crazy how quickly time has passed. My Noah David has been such a blessing to our family. I'm so incredibly thankful that he's here and it's such a joy to watch him grow up. Right now, Noah very much loves, and I mean loves. He is learning to use the toilet. Number1 has been mastered, but number 2 is still an issue. All in time :). He loves to sing the alphabet, Jesus loves me, and You Never Let Go.
