So about two weeks ago my cluster decided to cook an American Meal for our host families. It ended up being a blend of Mexican/Italian Food, and it was wonderful. Here are some pictures. Preparing in Maia's Kitchen. I am now an ace at peeling vegetables with a knife. (Colin: rolling dough for the tortillas, Goodloe: making the tortillas, Jana: making dough, Me: making salsa and a salad). Our table. We even had forks, knives and spoons for everyone! Goodloe making cornbread for thanksgiving! Our turkey, roasting away! The table was beautiful and super tasty! My counterparts came for thanksgiving! Nino, Shorena, Myself and Eka. One Month Anniversary of Being A Peace Corps Volunteer! The festivities were lots of fun as well.
