The 1930 Valuation Rolls for Scotland are now online at ScotlandsPeople. Valuation rolls can help you find people (owner, tenant or occupier but not whole families) between the censuses. The 1855, 1865, 1875, 1885, 1895, 1905, 1915, 1920 and 1925 rolls have been available for some time. How useful are valuation rolls? Delivered – about a century late! Where I was born and grew up.
