Or any other part of the world will do fine. In South East Asia. It’s fufu time! De fufu in Liberia is wit en kleverig, gemaakt van cassava ofte maniok. Fufu komt orgineel uit Ghana. Ik heb het gevoel dat de Ghanese fufu, die een goede vriendin van me eens heeft klaargemaakt, meer lijkt op een puree. In plaats van cassava kunnen afhankelijk van de regio ook yams, of andere planten (plantain) met een hoog zetmeelgehalte gebruikt worden. Hier heb ik een Engels receptje gevonden voor Peppersoup. Haha, behoorlijk surrealistisch om uitgenodigd te worden voor een Duitse namiddag, maar het was wel lekker! Deze week zijn we ook gaan eten bij twee Amerikaanse zusjes die we hebben leren kennen via dansklas en zij maakten voor ons deze lekkere Senegalese schotel met vis.
