For as long as I can remember, I've been taken with notebooks and writing implements. First it was my box of 64 Crayola crayons with the built-in sharpener. Later it was Paper Mate's Write Bros. stick pens, and black and white marble covered composition books. My Pen Needs Ink. The first was a Media Enhanced (ME) Journal. To keep the notebook closed.

It wasn’t particularly long. Nor was it even very exciting. But it was mine. Things to do just for me. Or, as the tagline says,. This summer, it’s all about me. To do or try the things. We are off to a fantastic start. In fact, if I am not mistaken, we have accomplished more this first week of vacation than most other summer vacations…combined. Pathetic, but true. So follow along and see how we do with this year’s to-do list. Go to a drive-in movie. Watch the Eagles during training camp — they practice at a local university. Chuck E. Cheese. Swim in the community pool. Take the local covered bridge tour. Make a backyard, glow-stick bowling alley for night bowling. Take a family moon walk.
