Return of the Janus: August 2006

http://returnofthejanus.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html

Return of the Janus. Thursday, August 31, 2006. Be good to yourselves. That's right, for the folks out there that have known me for a while, this blog is brought to you by a Journey song.well not really but that's where I got the title. Thank God I didn't. When he died he suffered alot from a brutal heart attack and overnight I got what I thought I wanted. Yet I did not feel satisified. Even in his death, I did not feel vindicated or avenged. How much revenge is enough? Always more than you can pay.

Return of the Janus: May 2007

http://returnofthejanus.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html

Return of the Janus. Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Janus goes back to school. Tomorrow's my first day, I'm a little excited and a little terrified. I considered all my options and pondered over what course I would do first, since I wanted to start out slow (one class is about as slow as I can get.) Today Bella and I raced in with less than one day before the class began, and got me registered. Mom always told me I should be a writer (well she also wants me to be a minister too) but I never really gave her too m...

The Way I See It. Painting Pictures of Egypt. January 26, 2010. They were totally afraid. They cried out in terror to God. They told Moses, “Weren’t the cemeteries large enough in Egypt so that you had to take us out here in the wilderness to die? What have you done to us, taking us out of Egypt? Back in Egypt didn’t we tell you this would happen? Didn’t we tell you, ‘Leave us alone here in Egypt we’re better off as slaves in Egypt than as corpses in the wilderness.'”. Tan | The Way I See It

https://jillwilliams.wordpress.com/2010/06/09/tan

The Way I See It. But I’ve decided I will not. I will be white. I will use spf 3o or more everytime I’m out in the sun. I will forgo the fact that I know I look better tan, to save my skin from more wrinkles and maybe even the chance of skin cancer. This is a commitment I am making to myself. I’m writing it down in order to remind myself, incase I’m tempted to do otherwise. This entry was posted on Wednesday, June 9th, 2010 at 2:50 pm and is filed under Uncategorized. Summatime | The Way I See It

https://jillwilliams.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/summatime

The Way I See It. Those were awesome times. I remember thinking how bored I was. Crazy to think now. What I wouldn’t give to not have a care in the world. Fast forward to today. Summertime is just like any other season of the year. Only its hot. Life is still busy. Work still continues. Kids still need fed. Laundry still needs done. Bills still need paid. Church still needs planted. So what were your summers like back in the day? You can follow any responses to this entry through the RSS 2.0.

Janet's Trip to Nigeria January 2002

Janet's Trip to Nigeria. Rotary Club of Peterborough Kawartha. Pictures of the Trip. These are three women we saw, walking into the village to market. They each had a baby tied on their backs and were able to carry heavy loads on their heads. After we had driven for an hour and half, we arrived at this village where a little boy brought us his sister who was only 12 hours old. Look how big her feet are. We immunized her and left some candy for the villagers.
