Jane Townsend is a painter, an artist and a dabbling photographer. Jane grew up in Derry, Northern Ireland but moved to London to study Theatrical Set Design in the early ’90’s. After spending the late 90’s and early ’00s working in fringe and regional theatre and then the lighting side of theatre in London, she ended up in Yorkshire escaping the tall buildings, concrete and congestion of people and swapping them for hills, valleys, green and space.
