In order to reinforce effort, I give a grade of 100 to students who turn in complete prewriting assignments, outlines and rough drafts. For the students who turn in incomplete prewriting assignments, outlines, and rough drafts, I give a grade of 50 and give them to opportunity to complete their assignments for a 70.
