Friday, 9 May 2008. Nara in the Rain　雨の中の奈良. On the penultimate day of our Rotary trip we enjoyed a soggy day of sightseeing in Nara, which gave us a chance to test the 'power of the Kag'. Nara was the capital of Japan from 710 to 784 and has many important temples and shrines. It seemed like we shared each area of our trip that day with about 10,000 children on their school trips!
