Sunday, August 26, 2012. On August 1st our oldest daughter left to start her senior year at Baylor University, this past Friday we took our son to SFA to start his freshman year. We are now official empty nesters. And while some dream of a quiet house, for me it's too quiet. I have been a stay at home mom their entire lives and now I find myself wondering what's next? Here it is with a coat of white paint.still pretty boring! Added a little glaze and it came to life! Found this bird statue at hallmark ov...

http://learningcurvecrafts.blogspot.com/2014/06/secret-projects.html
I pledge to not rip small mistakes, ignore the eye twitch that comes from leaving it, and never point the mistake out to others.". Monday, June 16, 2014. I can reveal my project today. my friend Joanna had me working on a project for her daughter and soon-to-be son-in-law for an engagement gift. Well, they were officially engaged this past weekend, so I no longer need to keep the quilt a secret. I needed to leave room for the wedding date, so that explains the empty space on the bottom right.

I pledge to not rip small mistakes, ignore the eye twitch that comes from leaving it, and never point the mistake out to others.". Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Snow in Georgia. How weird is that? My kids thought it was the coolest thing ever, of course. So, we created some make-shift mittens from 3 layers of socks and out they went. Why we dont have mittens, you may wonder? Usually. Of course the first thing my hyper boys did was to climb into their trampoline only to find that it was solid. Tuesday, Jan...

I pledge to not rip small mistakes, ignore the eye twitch that comes from leaving it, and never point the mistake out to others.". Sunday, March 30, 2014. Raider's quilt for Kenny. Pinmoors are so much easier to baste with. If they stay put, I'll be so happy! I may have been basting a little more densely then necessary, but new techniques have a learning curve! I'm off to start quilting! I would like to throw this out there for anyone who was following my progress on my Flirt Panel.ITS DONE! I am so exci...

August 1, 2012 Author ami. It wouldn’t be a whole foods blog without granola, would it? I started making this granola recipe. About six months ago. Oats, nuts, coconut, seeds — yum! And even though it’s good as written, I’ve tweaked and tweaked and tweaked. If you want something less sweet with more {much more} ginger, check out the original recipe. However, if you kids like things a little more sweet and a little less spicy, try mine. Posted in Recipe Box. July 12, 2012 Author ami. And then the egg.
