Saturday, March 31, 2012. Did eggs with the kids last night. The bands were harder to put on then we thought they would be. Alex putting on round stickers so that she can have a polka dot egg. Even though I absolutely hated the instrument and think its a waste of valuable funds for a modern church I took on the challenge. Tuesday, April 02, 2013. We had a delightful Easter Week! I knew I should have started back in January/February. I really didn't realise how much hand embroidery and smocking was involved. If I had done the dress in cotton, it would have had it finished. But alas, I chose Silk Dupioni, its harder than it looked to smock. Wednesday, March 06, 2013. A Hint of Spring and an Easter Dress. To begin back to my good old blog I had to mention I saw a hint of spring today in my yard. I'm so excited to see if I can really grow flowers. I know I can grow plants as I have proven last summer, but I've yet to see what I can accomplish with spring time bulbs.
