IT REALLY IS REAL. Though it’s been a few weeks since the play ended, people still approach me with kudos on my role of Ali Hakim in the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, Oklahoma! They thank me for making them laugh. Some also comment on how it must be hard getting back to the real world after acting. Acting involves make believe, but it’s just as real as any other aspect of life. When I’m performing a role in a play, I’m still me. I don’t leave the real world and enter an unreal world. A lot, I bet.
