Monday, April 30, 2012. Approximately 4 weeks left to meet our little guy. We've gotten some things done this week including picking up his dresser and nightstand! I also got curtains, a hamper, lamp and a garbage can for his room. All of the clothes have been washed and put away in his dresser and I've started getting our bag together for the hospital. Tuesday, July 31, 2012. Colin: 2 Month Dr. Appointment. Colin had his 2 month doctor appointment today. We couldn't get into our pediatrician so we saw the nurse practitioner who we really like. She said Colin looked great! Weight: 12lbs 1oz (45th percentile). Height: 24 inches (88th percentile). I'm guessing he'll pass his brother right up in height and weight, but only time will tell. Monday, February 27, 2012. Happy 3rd Birthday, Reid! We headed to Freeport this weekend to celebrate my nephew, Reid's 3rd birthday! This Hot Wheels track was the hit of the night. I don't think he was quite as excited when he opened a long sleeve t-shirt from us. :-) We also got him a subscription to Highlights High Five magazine. Thursday, November 15, 2012. I've been wanting to take Drake to an indoor waterpark for a while because I knew he would love it. Last weekend, we met my college friend, Janell in Utica at Grizzly Jack's Resort. We got there on Friday afternoon, checked into our "villa" and then headed to the amusement park for dinner and to let Drake go on a few rides. On Saturday morning, we grabbed some breakfast and headed for the waterpark! YesI was horrible getting pictures - maybe next time! OUR JOURNEY TO COLIN!

Saturday, June 30, 2012. You are ONE month old! The time has gone quickly and you are getting so big already. You are a great eater and love to nurse. You are eating every 2.5-3 hours depending on your sleep, and we've started giving you a bottle for your last feeding of the night (4 ounces). Sometimes nursing is the only thing we can do to calm you down when you aren't happy. You will take a pacifer, but only if you aren't too upset. You are not a big fan of baths. Thursday, May 31, 2012. My doctor came in around 8:45am (still 3cm and 50%) and decided to break my water. She went into a 3 hour procedure and 10:30am and kind of joked about not having the baby until she was done. The contractions got much stronger after she broke my water. By 10:30am I could breathe through them but they were definitely painful. I was debating on when to get my epidural so the nurse checked me, and I was at 5cm and 100% effaced! Sunday, September 30, 2012. Apple and Pork Festival. After church on Sunday, we headed down to Clinton to the Apple and Pork Festival. We grabbed some lunch and wandered around the vendor booths and then came home. It was a beautiful day to be outside and enjoy the weather. The Great Grocery Challenge.
