Saturday, December 12, 2009. We have been busy little bees running from one activity to another. We had a great Thanksgiving here in Myrtle Beach. John's whole family was able to come to Myrtle Beach so we had a crowd. There are 19 of us now just in John's immediate family. We had a lot of fun and ate non stop for what seemed like days. Monday, December 22, 2008. Lyla is doing great she has been trying rice cereal for the past several days and finds it interesting. She is not quite sure what to do with the spoon. She can roll over from belly to back and almost from back to belly. She can hold her monster head up with ease. Thursday, July 30, 2009. My my where does the time go it's almost August. There will be no pictures with this blog as we haven't really taken any this summer. We have been pretty busy. We went on our annual pilgrimage. To Helen, Ga. for our Setzer. Family Vacation. It was fun. This was the first time I have been since before Riley was born because I always had to work. (See there are perks to unemployment.). I hope everyone is well. Come visit us if you are in the MB area we love to have company!

Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Like a good neighbor. Well after much deliberation and prayer I was offered a job this week and I took it. I am going to work for a new State Farm agent here near our house. It is a really good opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an agency. So if you need any insurance I am your one stop shop! Sunday, June 14, 2009. Well I can not believe that four years ago today I became a mother. What a whirlwind it has been! Riley, you have filled my life with love and laughter. Thursday, January 8, 2009. There are a few people in my life that need to be lifted up in prayer at the moment. Garrett Sheehan, is a 6 year old boy who is a friend of my mother's. He is currently losing his battle with cancer. Also, his parents who I can not even imagine being in their shoes. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Well hello faithful blog readers! Sorry it has been so long I have had A LOT going on. Let's see where do I begin. We have added the beautiful addition of Lyla. To our family and she is doing great. Still hasn't figured out the whole day/night thing, but we are working on it. She also refuses to sleep in a bed of any kind.
