Monday, October 29, 2012. Thank heavens for the sunglasses to hide the tears. Johnny wanted to run around so badly. We just wrestled with him instead. Anyway, here's what we did. I went to the temple on Saturday and then Sunday we went to the cemetery as a family. Now two of our friends have children buried near JJ. Nice, but still pretty sad. Saturday, November 24, 2012. Still 36 weeks pregnant. I'm actually feeling pretty proud of myself right now. I'm still working full time. I've designed all sorts of new and inquiry based lessons for my classroom that are going so well! I'm successfully (more or less) chasing after a 20 month old son. I'm pretty excited for him! I asked him a couple of days ago if he was nervous for his first game. He said "kind-of". I asked him why and he said "cause it hurts when you get tackled". Friday, December 14, 2012. Nothin' like a family from the desert waking up to a foot of snow in the high country! The kids had their winter gear on as fast as their little hands could button and zip it all up! Abby, Kali and I lasted 3 1/2 minutes before we were ready for a warm bath and hot chocolate. Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Sweet little Kali Faith is here and we are loving her up! It's amazing how a new little spirit can join a family and fit in perfectly right from the first moment. As soon as she took her first breath, I couldn't imagine life without her. There's no doubt this sweet baby is meant to be in our family. We feel beyond blessed. We love you Kali. Tuesday, November 8, 2011. What can we say.the boy loves him a good dose of pain. He signed himself up for another good showering of abuse last weekend. He thought it sounded like a great idea to let some hard core navy seals torture him for 55 hours straight. He flew out Thursday afternoon taking his duffel bag full of gear and his training over the past 4 months with him. For some it was too much.
