Thursday, June 23, 2011. 2011 Mule Days in Powell, WY. Wildest bears we saw. How big am I? This year we camped out at the grounds in a tent. The kids thought it was great! We did get some rain one night, and the floor of the tent got a little damp. The kids just doubled up in sleeping bags and had a ball. The next day brought lots of sun and warm temperatures and dried us out, thankfully. We took the kids swimming one day and mommy was able to get a much needed shower! Holden tired after swimming. Thursday, February 9, 2012. We were fortunate to travel to Disneyland with the Edwards side of the family in November. It was a great adventure! A great time was had by all. Here are some favorites of our family's;. Ketch - Jedi training and battling Darth Maul. Lane - Splash Mountain and build a bear workshop with Grandma. Holden - World of Color and Splash Mountain. Winn - Tower of Terror and the Railroad roller coaster. I have included some fun pictures, there are many more, but these a few faves.

Saturday, December 18, 2010. Scooby Doo and Beautiful Too! Conner is currently addicted to watching Scooby Doo movies and has even taken to the phrases of "Scooby Dooby Doo" and "Jinkies". Is it sad that I actually find these movies to be a little scary? Apparently our ceiling has had enough of the "Worst Winter in 20 Years". Wednesday, July 6, 2011. Boy am I starting to feel old. Holden has turned 8. He woke up early and opened his presents from Dad and Mom and then we went to the river for his Birthday! The boat didn't run so well so we went and visited Grandma Susie and Grandpa Dennis and then went on to Gooding to the rodeo. Sunday we had all the family over for cake and ice cream and Party! From: Cooking Light Magazine May 2010. 1/2 cup frozen green peas, thawed. 12 ounces asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces. 8 ounces uncooked cavatappi pasta. 1/2 cup (2 ounces) grated pecorino Romano cheese. 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt. 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper. 3 large eggs, lightly beaten. 4 slices center-cut bacon, chopped. 1 cup chopped seeded red bell pepper. Lick The Bowl Good.

From: Cooking Light Magazine November 2009. 1 Tablespoon canola oil. 3/4 cup chopped onion. 1 medium garlic clove, minced. 1 pound boneless pork shoulder, cut into 1/2-inch pieces. 1 1/2 Tablespoons chili powder. 1 teaspoon ground cumin. 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper. 1 1/2 cups fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth. 1 (15-ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained. 4 cups cubed peeled butternut squash (about 1 1/2 pounds).
