Day 66 – Back. And no one can ever take that away. We pull Marv out and hit the dump station (something I’m definitely happy to leave behind! Almost 10 weeks, over 7,000 miles, 11 states, 2 countries and about 100 s’mores. Best summer of my life. By far. We pull Marv in to the driveway, sad for it to be over but happy to see home. Monthly Archives: July 2013. Day 20 – Taste of Yosemite. Slough Creek has been the most amazing campsite so far (#26 btw). Day 64 – Double-Double with the Christensens! With school looming (Eli’s school started a couple of weeks ago! We spend the first part of today’s long drive “road-schooling” with math facts etc. Rough start although it is peppered with giant redwoods which seem to extend to most of the north coast, and The Lone Ranger (since we’re on a “freeway”).
