With a sad, pathetic look on their face) Awwww, ANOTHER girl.well, maybe you can try again for a boy? Uh, we weren't 'trying' for a boy. We just wanted another child. Then I punch them in the face. When are you due again? Yeah, I had her last week. I'm just still a bit bloated. Then I punch them in the face. Then I punch them in the face. No, it's actuall...

Wednesday, July 28, 2010. I'm not avoiding you. I just can't find the right words to describe the awesomeness of E-M's birth experience. Yes, she was born. Yes, I did it naturally, sans drugs, iv's, and yucky hospital gowns. Yes, it was the most beautiful experience of my entire life. No, I didn't punch John in the face. Yes, it was the most amazing experience of our, nearly eight year, marriage. Yes, The Girls LOVE their baby sister. Yes, life is perfect, to me. Links to this post. Monday, July 5, 2010.

Monday, February 04, 2013. It is so much fun (and work) having a baby again. I'm so thankful Jeremy has been home to help me so much with this little (actually huge) boy. He was so hard for the first 2 1/2 months, but he's really changed and a is such an easy baby now. I just took me a little while to figure him out and work through somethings:) He's so happy and getting so fat again. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Create your own visitor map! Saturday, September 01, 2012. I'm sooooo out of my mind excited! This is a picture from my kitchen into the formal dining room, soon to be HUGE pantry/sewing room:). This is a picture from the family room into the entry way/ formal living room, soon to be Jeremy's office:). Jeremy and Jonathan Staiger worked from sun up to sun down and will work on it again on labor day (ironically). That is super cool. I always thought those formal rooms were kind of useless. What a great idea! Family and Friend blogs.

Thursday, August 30, 2012. This year we managed 2 trips to the dunes. Last month was in Coos Bay for a little sand camping. It was our first opportunity to take our new 4x4 truck out on the sand. And once we got the tires aired down adequately - she performed perfectly! We still tent camp but had a reprieve when we discovered we had forgotten our tent poles. Don't ask. So our good friends Doug and Tina offered to share their trailer. Wait. I said we "forgot" our poles, right? Camp ground - - with SHOWERS!

Our first day dawned beautiful and sunny here in Oregon. We couldn't have asked for a better send off! Day 2 in Paradise. Then, to pick up the mood, we headed to the North Shore for our surfing lesson!

Sunday, June 14, 2009. We had our beloved Annie for about 17 yrs. Thursday, June 11, 2009. So, we've been helping kayleigh move stuff to her storage unit this week - in preparation for her move to Idaho. She was complaining because when she moved *into* this apartment, Chris was in Idaho, and unable to participate. So, she said next time they move, she's opting out - Chris can do it all. Monday, June 8, 2009. As for Kayleigh, she's moving the last of the boxes out of her apartment tomorrow. She'll be...

Monday, May 17, 2010. Last week, I suddenly found myself pulling kitty midwife duty. I came home at lunch and discovered our kitty was in labor. She kept meowing rather loudly at me trying to get me to follow her. Once I did, I discovered she wanted to have her kittens in the clothes hamper. So I was forced to put her birthing box on top of the hamper, and it took some time to convince her it was better than the hamper. I was somewhat shocked to discover we had a total of 4 on the way. The best part was ...
