Many nights I was left in my junior chair staring down a pile of succotash until Mom told me to go to bed. At some point Mom gave up on the sit there until you swallow plan and started plan B, which was simply to throw a hotdog or buttered noodles my way every night at dinner time, giving me my first taste of warm motherly love.

Pre-heat oven to 325*. 1 pound (16 oz) powdered sugar. 3/4 stick butter or margarine. 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese. 1 tsp vanilla extract. 3/4 cup chopped walnuts (or your choice of nut).
