A couple of days later, the doctor found tumors in my wife's uterus and informed her that she'd have to have a hysterectomy, so I bought a used Grand Cherokee and the Jeep promptly dropped to about my lowest priority and sat in the driveway until the Spring of 2003. This space for rent. Stripped down and waiting for the fresh engine. Fire in the hole. All hooked up and ready to run. (That's factory cruise control on the fender). Derale trans cooler tucked under the rear seat area.

Let's get it started. Kicking things off with the bare frame. Back from the shop with custom axles and suspension and a 'new' body. Coming back together after the second teardown. Looks almost ready to drive. This is right about where I got before buying the Scrambler.

When I got to work, I mulled it over for about and hour, then called and offered $2700. He ran it by his daughter and she agreed and I picked it up on the weekend. At home after picking it up. Lifted and ready for action. Why I try to avoid mud pits. Stripping down for the 'restification'. Putting it back together. Just needs paint, gears and some tweaking.

Jeepskate Steering

The box is further secured with a Currie Enterprises. A BDS (Big Dick's Suspension Co.). CJ drop pitman arm was installed to help combat bump steer and to keep the drag link from getting too friendly with the passenger side spring pack. The stock '95 YJ linkage is currently in place along with a Trailmaster SSV GM truck dual steering stabilizer setup. If I find that I need more strength, I'll look into adapting some other vehicle's stock linkage. The completed assembly with '95 YJ steering linkage.
