Two country kids in the big city. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Goodness - I have I really not posted on here since March? Shameful. Well, a lot has happened in our lives since then, some of which is posted on my other blog. One of those things is was my birthday back in May. The big 2-7 for me! It was fun to have friends over to play bocce ball and have a little celebration with ice cream and cake. What do you do when you don't have birthday candles? I espcially like the one below. :).

Two country kids in the big city. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Since moving to Boise, we have been stuck admiring the State Capitol from a distance, as it has been under construction for rennovations. A few weeks ago we were finally able to set foot in the beautiful building. First I went with my coworkers. Then Jeff and I were able to get tickets to the VIP Reception the night before the dedication! Cute little L'eah - she always steals the show! Jeff, preparing for his floor speech. Ah - so pretty.

Well, on a walk with the dogs the other day I found a cat skeleton and Sasha found a deer leg that she was very excited about. I kept the cat skull for Dr Poll back at Coldwater Animal Hospital to use for dental xray training. He was very excited! Might have scared Jeff off. ;). Moooooo Mooooooo Mooooooo. But we have finally got all of the boxes out of the trailers and trucks, so that's something to celebrate! We may find a place for all this stuff yet!
