John, Morgan, Grant, Alice & Jane: Visitors!
http://johnandmorganholbrook.blogspot.com/2015/06/visitors.html
John, Morgan, Grant, Alice and Jane. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. We were thrilled to have Ruth and Hobie come visit a couple week ago. They're so easygoing and fun to be with. Hobie's cousin lives in our ward, so we got together for a little picnic. It must have been good because Lizzie went into labor shortly after. Grant has been asking me for a can of sardines for weeks. I was finally able to deliver, and he was not thrilled about what he got himself into. The smell was terrible! June 17, 2015 at 7:43 AM.

John, Morgan, Grant, Alice & Jane: Weekends
http://johnandmorganholbrook.blogspot.com/2015/06/weekends.html
John, Morgan, Grant, Alice and Jane. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. We found a great beach that has a park right next to it. We went at my favorite time of day when the sun is just setting. Recently, we went up to Schenectady for Johnny to meet with GE Energy up there and catch up with dear friends. One of Johnny's favorite things about GE is its old roots. Johnny was the chubby bunny champion. We're all very proud :). That campground looks very nice especially for kids. I love all the grassy area. You will hav...

This shot is from opening day when Johnny was explaining the game. Tod's Point beach for a family walk. Stepping Stones Children's Museum. You will have signif...

http://johnandmorganholbrook.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
John, Morgan, Grant, Alice and Jane. Sunday, June 22, 2014. First week in CT. We happily made it to Connecticut! Here's our last picture at the Sacramento airport after Mom and Dad dropped us off. I heard at least 10 times - You have your hands full. I'm thankful to have such great little travelers. Here's what Alice did most of the flights. Grant did some of this. The kids and I had a little pancake breakfast before the moving company arrived. She's more than willing to try to get anything into her mouth.

Lori and Neil: March 2013
http://loriandneil.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 26, 2013. This is the 'compost' birthday cake that Tiffany made for me. The whole family came over to share in the cake. This chocolate cake was also full of gummy worms and leaves made from taffy, 'grass' and logs around the outside, complete with a shovel for serving. Very kind of them. Quinn, as always, is closely observing everything. She will not miss out. Especially in the kitchen. Poor Chloe [Renee Myers doggie] has bad cataracts. The eyes appear as white glass in the photo.

Lori and Neil: Virginia with Elizabeth and Jeff
http://loriandneil.blogspot.com/2015/07/virginia-with-elizabeth-and-jeff.html
Thursday, July 23, 2015. Virginia with Elizabeth and Jeff. We enjoyed a great visit with Jeff and Elizabeth. This is Great Fall N.P. which is on the border between Virginia and Maryland. Totally unexpected to find waterfalls like this so close. Also along the western bank is a canal which George Washington had a part in developing, it is now in ruins but impressive. Our guide at the Falls. Depressing because it makes my drought stricken ones look even worse. We enjoyed the Inn. We celebrated by eating so...

spencer, allie, the girls and a boy: April 2015
http://spencerandallie.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Spencer, allie, the girls and a boy. Monday, April 20, 2015. I sorta skipped Christmas pictures. just ignore that it's April already. I love love love quinny's pure, excited enthusiasm for all parts of every holiday. She's so much like her animated older sister. Little buddy wanted me to load his Pez dispenser ASAP. Quinny's first experience with Pop Rocks. She was all excited at first to have sugar in her mouth but when the popping started she was not a fan. It was a very merry Christmas. We've been mar...

spencer, allie, the girls and a boy: March 2015
http://spencerandallie.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Spencer, allie, the girls and a boy. Monday, March 23, 2015. Spencer and quinny went to Autopia while I went on a ride with the big kids. 10 mins into the line quinny was doing the potty dance. I think doing a double-line wait did quinny in. Spencer didn't know the steering wheel worked on this ride. He had put quinny in the driver's seat so he got a nice, jarring trip around the track. Apparently, the last day was all about Quinn. So many pictures! From bawling their eyes out. What toy do you want?

Lori and Neil: Charleston Homestead
http://loriandneil.blogspot.com/2015/06/charleston-homestead.html
Monday, June 1, 2015. Oil on hardwood Panel. Click on the image to enlarge]. Since my father enjoyed his 90th birthday this spring, I looked back into our family history to find inspiration for painting. The red brick home was owned by my grandparents, Wayne and Violet Whiting, while living in Charleston which is a small town in Wasatch County. Charleston also sits on the banks of the Deer Creek Reservoir with the Provo River running into it on the north. June 1, 2015 at 8:07 PM. June 2, 2015 at 10:49 AM.
