Thursday, December 11, 2008. There's no place like home. Yesterday morning I woke up at 4:15am to get ready to head to the airport. After traveling for a total of thirteen hours (plus a two hour layover), I arrived at Dulles Airport on December 10th. It was about 10:20pm Czech time, so needless to say, I was tired. I knew I was back in America when I walked into the airport and heard Christmas music playing! Sunday, November 30, 2008. Friday, November 21, 2008. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Though the snowfall didn't last that long or accumulate very much, it was very pretty. I was headed out to the Barnes' house when I realized that the rain had turned to snow. Of course, I don't like driving in even the slightest winter weather, so I hurried on over. It was fun though because I got to "run" in the snow! Oh the weather outside is frightful. Liz came to visit!

Saturday, May 23, 2009. Chocolate - the answer to all of life's ills. On Thursday and Friday last week I watched Noah two 5 year old missionary girls ALL DAY. These girls are wonderful, funny, loving little girls and I was happy to watch them so their parents could go to the training seminar. They are also both strong-willed and opinionated so while they start out excited to be together, they are more than ready to part company by the end of a day. Thank God for chocolate! Like other European countries, most people dress nicely to do anything. It isn't too common to see people at the mall in jeans, let alone pajama pants like we see in Ameria.
