Keepin' up with the Joneses. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord". Wednesday, August 10, 2011. It is literally overwhelming what all God is putting in our path right now. Overwhelming can be a good and bad thing. Right now, it's both. We are overwhelmed with blessing as well as overwhelmed with 'curse'. Please don't hear this as complaining, it's not. But it is our life right now. We are asking God specific questions like, what are we supposed to do with this person, or this situation?

If my memory is correct, I believe I went to the doctor last year on my birthday. Happy Birthday to ME! If getting sick is going to be my present each year, I don't want it! I can't wait to get pictures of this event! I know Gracie is very excited to play 'waitress'! This will be precious memories for all of us!

What a mighty God we serve! Tuesday, January 27, 2009. We woke up this morning to about five inches of snow here in Fleming County. Suprisingly, by the time I rolled out of bed at 8:45 am the roads had been scraped and looked to be in decent shape. I still didn't go in to work though. In anticipation of the weather I had brought several tax returns home with me last night so I have been working on those most of the day. Hope everyone is warm and safe on this "freezin' dog leg" day! Thank you for Jesus.
