David and McKenzie: March 2011
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Warning: this post is full of complaints and negativity. In the 3 weeks I have been to OB triage (in layman's terms the entrance gates to labor and delivery at the hospital). A total of 4 times. FOUR TIMES! I am 35 weeks and have consistent contractions AGAIN (despite the bed rest). I go to the hospital they give me another shot to stop contractions and they send me home. I'm still 2cm and 70% effaced. I'm just BARELY 36 weeks and I start to painful. The key to labor). Last night...

David and McKenzie: April 2010
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. A Housewife's Best Friends. I never thought I would ENJOY cleaning my shower. But something happens when you suddenly pay a monthly rent to use your shower. So on Saturday I spent an hour scrubbing my shower which then turned into a full fledged cleaning adventure. Oh no, it wasn't poop (thankfully, I guess). It was gum, black gum. Black gum? Somehow a LARGE portion of the gum remained in the laundry and went through the dryer. There was little black gum pieces and stains all...

David and McKenzie: June 2010
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. 1 month left under the Arizona sun. 1 month to find a place to live. 1 month until I sign my life away to student loans. 1 month left with family close by. 1 month left of familiarity. 1 month left of zero humidity. 1 month left in my comfort zone. PS if you haven't guessed by now. . . I made my final decision and will be going to graduate school regardless of how much I will owe in the end. Thanks everyone for all of your love and support, you're all amazing. Fact: I am indecisive.

David and McKenzie: July 2010
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 1, 2010. Sometimes I think I am crazy. Sometimes my husband thinks I am crazy. Sometimes we are crazy together. Well, for the few of you that read this, I thought I would keep you updated. . . we are NOT. Before any of you think I am too crazy, here's how the story goes:. A few days ago, while looking through thousands of rental home listings, I stopped and for the first time faced the gnawing feeling my stomach kept having. Why was I so reluctant to move to Dallas? I began looking into on...

David and McKenzie: February 2010
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. I always wanted someone who would make me laugh. My husband makes me laugh. In my childhood my grandmother and my mom would sing me this song,. I love you a bushel and a peck. A bushel and a peck. And a hug around the neck. A hug around the neck. I love you a barrel and a heap. A barrel and a heap. And a kiss upon the cheek. A kiss upon the cheek. ". Song to my nephew! Ever since then David has been singing the song, except he has trouble with the lyrics. My recent favorite,.

Monday, November 1, 2010. It has been quite some time since I have posted anything. But life has been a bit crazy around here. Since quitting our jobs, changing our minds about moving away for graduate school, and moving in with David's parents, a lot has changed. For instance.we bought a house! We are so fortunate to have this opportunity and it is crazy to believe that we are home owners. New home in a bit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). David McKenzie = McDavie.

David and McKenzie: A bit of honesty
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2011/03/bit-of-honesty.html
Tuesday, March 1, 2011. A bit of honesty. It has been a long time since I've posted and I wish I could claim it was because I'm just SO busy. Honestly, I don't write because I don't know what to say. Ok, that wasn't honest.I'm too careful. I think too much about what people will think of me and so I don't write. But in attempt to really tackle one of my new year resolutions, I am going to just write and not think. I have a serious. A glass with TONS of sonic ice and a Pepsi. yummmmmmm. I'm scared to have...
