And probably most of you have already heard it or know about it because I am usually pretty much the last person to catch on to new songs, but in case you haven't or in case you've forgotten about it. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Today I want to write about roley poleys. I am sitting in periodicals, one of the only places in the HBLL that has a good window view to the real world. There is a steep hill that I know most all of you know about that leads down to the windows. It is a nice day outside and I watch about 10 kids all jumping onto their bellies and rolling down the hill. What makes us do that? I think to myself. Why when we are kids do we see a hill, and think, "Hey! What gave them that idea?

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. So this is a post that I meant to do a few weeks ago for my Dad's birthday, but obviously didn't get it done. But I am getting it done now so better late than never, right? Anyway, "Bones" was the name of one of my brothers' and I's all-time FAVORITE of all favorite games to play with our dad when we were younger. We used to beg and beg for him to play it with us just about every Sunday summer evening. The Rules of Bones:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Amy's Party of 6. 5 The Blu...

Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Looking out over the crater from the deck of our room. This lodge was pretty cool. It had a real cabin/hunting (NOT poaching, the catch and release kind maybe. . . can you do that with hunting? Toothless grin after C.J. nicknamed me "cheese-whiz" for smiling too big. Relaxing around the fire after a "hard" day out on safari. With these binoculars you could see the animals down in the crater. A group of Masai youth that came into the lodge to do a dance before we ate dinner. Sorry f...

Steve & Jewel: July 2008
http://steveandjewel.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 28, 2008. 4th of July in Idaho Falls. Well, we made a short trip to Idaho Falls to spend the 4th of July with family. It was a great time! We slept out in a tent in Steve's parents' backyard the first night and loved every minute of it, breathing that mountain air. It was great! We went to the parade that morning and I think the most fun was just watching Jon more than the parade! He was on his feet collecting candy for all the kids (and grown-ups) in the family! Who said parades were boring?

Monday, October 20, 2008. Our trip to Arizona for Wyatt's baby blessing. On October 10th, Steve and I and Kayla and Jordon flew to Arizona to be there for Wyatt's baby blessing on Sunday, October 12th. It was a quick trip - we got there Friday night and came back home on Sunday, but it was so nice! We loved being there and it gave everyone a chance to meet the cute little guy and I got reacquainted with him! He's growing so fast! Jocelyn (not sure if this is spelled right), Shane, Jason and Wyatt. Joey a...
