A gluten free cooking blog. Castagnaccio – Italian Chestnut Cake. November 12, 2009. At my local natural foods store, I found this awesome new (well, new for me) gluten free flour that I had never tried before – Italian chestnut flour. I love chestnuts, and for sure thought that I would come up with some great use for this. The actual idea for making castagnaccio came from a suggestion by @NJSpice. Because it is grain free and there is no sugar, this cake is perfect for making for my diabetic mom! I foun...

A gluten free cooking blog. February 26, 2012. Yes, that is “evil gluten” bread in the photo above. You may be wondering, why, on a declared gluten free blog, am I posting am image of gluteny bread? As I’m sure many of you know (and if not feel free to check out my about. But me, personally? Why even have gluten in the home? This morning we made French toast. And so the journey begins. Monday, August 29, 2011. 27: Read 50 Non-Crime Books. With Death as a narrator, this book was wonderful, dark, and moving. Set in Germany during the Nazi regime, The Book Thief tells the story of Liesel a nine-year-old girl during the time. You follow her as she lives and steals. It really was a great book. Too many things to say, too lazy to type...
Too many things to say, too lazy to type. The search for perfection in an imperfect world. All the time, I had only wanted to love, to know what love feels like, to love and be loved, by a one and only. But I haven't been able to. I have come to realise that the only standing between me and love is myself. Me, not letting myself love, or fall in love, or to give love. I was holding back. Can I fall gracefully and recover, in love? Not yet, thus far. And then to recover well and alive? And I was sure.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. March 23, 2013. My stomach tightened. I knew I had to deliver the bad news to Rachel and I knew it wouldn’t be pretty. Upon the sight Rachel sulked, This pool is stupid! There’s nothing fun it’s just lap lanes and a baby place! Finally she jumped in the pool for a few seconds. The water’s cold! Rachel hollered and sat back on the side again. Well let’s go home then if you don’t want to swim. I whispered to her from the deck. She said with a frowny face. Just then an old...

I graduated from college officially in December and now am looking for a job anywhere. I've been substituting in Heber for now and actually I totally love it. I thought I would never EVER say this but its grown on me and the kids are so fun:). I still live in Kamas with my mom and dad but hey. its free! Well there you have it, thats my life. It was so much fun to see them.
