Downing Table for Six. January 24, 2015. We got to have a family fun day in Indianapolis, thanks to a Christmas gift from Josh's Uncle John and Aunt Becky. Our first stop was a candy store we had seen on TV, Rocket Fizz. It was fun to look around. We let each of the kids choose one thing to take to the main event, Disney on Ice! We had great seats for the show! After the show, we had a yummy dinner at P.F. Chang's. It's becoming a family favorite! I'm always thankful for great family days like this!

Sunday, August 21, 2011. Here are some pictures of her room. I created the quilt on ETSY. I picked out the fabrics and a lady sewed it together. I love how it turned out. Here are a couple pictures of the belly. Once again this is another thing I have not done well at documenting! Picture of my eye. Thursday, May 17, 2012. I am a mom. There are so many things I love about this role. I love the feel of pudgy arms wrapping around my neck for a tight squeeze. I love hearing my name called in high pitched voices from around the house. I love that I'm the first person my kids come to when they have a problem, especially if it's a boo boo that needs to be kissed or a hug that's needed after a rough day. Downing Table for Six. August 31, 2014. We had a laid back celebration at home for Josh's birthday this year. Hannah made Josh a crown at Kindergarten since that is the tradition in her classroom. She really wanted him to wear it to the Illini football game the next day, but Josh said he was worried it would get ruined if it rained. Jadyn was able to be apart of Laney's 3on3 in Quincy's Gus Macker this past weekend. She had alot of fun just knowing she was on the team. She went in 1 game for a short time to play but was embarrassed and didn't want people to make fun of her. I thought she did good while she was in though! It was a very hot day.

Friday, November 13, 2009. So I'm finally getting around to blogging about the delivery. The weekend prior to d-day I went to a wedding in Chicago. Michael and I had been joking for many weeks that the trip (10 hours in a car) would induce labor and I predicted I would go into labor sometime the week following the trip. Saturday, May 14, 2011. So I'm super late making this post given I've known for like a month. but.IT'S A GIRL! Just like last time with Caleb the ultrasound is so amazing. It makes it even more real getting to see her and watching her move around in there. It's also fun because I get to do some shopping for girl clothes.which are so much cuter than boy clothes! For me knowing the sex greatly helps me connect to the baby and I love that I can call her by name.(drumroll please).Carissa. Picture of my eye.

Friday, May 15, 2009. Grass, Mothers Day, and 15 Weeks. This was our yard when we bought the house last August. What a hideous bush! This spring none of the already sparse grass grew back :) . Sunday, August 23, 2009. What can I say about the sixth month of pregnancy. I really enjoyed it! I think it will be my best month of pregnancy for many reasons.
