A journal about adopting Alicia and our life after coming home. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. On 12/23/09 we all went for some downtown Chicago fun. We saw this puppet show and stopped to watch, it was kind of cute. It was a huge hit with many of the kids there watching. The cousins standing in front of the downtown Chicago Christmas tree. Lincoln Park Zoo was a lot of fun because they had a lot of Christmas lights. Some of them flashed in beat to the music being played over the loud speakers.

If it had been a wedding, we'd have had the something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Something old: Her veil. It was the one I wore for my first communion. A journal about adopting Alicia and our life after coming home. Monday, October 26, 2009. We took a trip to Oregon in Late Sept-early Oct. I wish I would have taken more pictures of my brothers but what you see is all I got. Mt Hood was behind us but it didn't show up in the photo since it wasn't very clear that day. Bob took us for a boat ride. We had a great time. Cousins sharing a snack of popcorn. They are 4 months apart in age. David and Timmy getting ready for school. Links to this post.
