Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Tim and I brewed our first batch of beer, a brown ale, with the help of a brewing friend. Quite tasty. Playing at the park. Emily usually loves the slide- not sure why she's so unhappy here (actually, i just can't remember). Walking in his daddy's shoes. Emily's new smiley face. JJ took this picture- pretty good, eh? Wednesday, November 9, 2011. We got some photographic evidence of her standing on her own, before Halloween. Emily was a bee for Halloween, a good choice for this busy little one. We tried to dress her up as a purple dragon, but she did not like the costume. She was much happier being a bee. Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Christmas round 1- Colorado. 65279;We had our first Christmas in Colorado, with Tim's family. We celebrated a little early, but hey, the kids loved that! JJ and Emily made salt dough ornaments for everyone in the family (both sides) and had fun painting them.. Pappa Rose pretending his ornaments are earrings. Emily's new super hero cape! Monday, November 5, 2012. Nothing like swim goggles to jazz up your outfit. One of the Halloween festivities- Emily the ballerina, JJ as Mater (from the movie Cars). The gang of kids who went trick or treating this year (more jumped in later): Jack, Lily. Amelia, Taryn, Lily, Emily, Owen, and JJ. The kids and the adults all had a blast. Happy Halloween! Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Christmas round 3- Peoria. 65279;And finally, we get to Peoria to spend Christmas with my family. Uncle Dick treated JJ and Emily to a ride on the mall train- its a really neat one, and I think Emily's first train ride. We went to church and came home to relax. Hanging out with my nephew Nick, my dad, my nephew Tom, me, Tim, Katie, and JJ across the middle. Aunt Christine and JJ opening his new hot wheels set. And his new r.c. car. And his new microscope. Monday, September 10, 2012. Emily's 2nd birthday party! We had Emily's birthday party this weekend (a few days early) and it was fun, I'm not going to lie. We had 9 kids and their assorted adults. It was a great time! Tim liked this picture of himself so I put it on the blog. hee hee. Emily blowing out her candle. (We had ice cream sundaes instead of cake- yum!
