Saturday, June 30, 2012. Cross Country Road Trip - Days 10-11 - Hanging Out. We spent the last few days relaxing in the hospitality of Brian's family and spent Saturday night at a bbq with Brian's best friend's family. (Yet another visit with no pictures.). One of the funniest parts of this trip was Cameron's reaction to Jack reading, or not reading. It started with one of the kids asking Jack to read a book. The kids were up bright and early on Christmas morning, excited to see the goodies Santa had brought and he didn't disappoint. (And I just realized I didn't take any pictures - just video.) Friday, September 28, 2012. Please excuse the poor quality camera pics, but you get the idea. Austin has come so far with his skating that he's become Cameron's (self-appointed) coach. He spent a whole session teaching him how to get up. Just like his coaches did with him only a month ago. Bryanna isn't as interested in playing hockey and just skates around, but she looks forward to going more than anyone. We're so fortunate to be able to skate every week for our gym class. Thursday, January 12, 2012. We've had such a mild winter that we've only had one or two days of actual snow. We seized the opportunity and went sledding. The hill by Nanny and Pappy's is perfect - it's pretty high and steep, but has a small incline at the end to slow them down. Check out all this snow! Trust me, there was only about an inch or so, but it's there.). Yup, that's my son- carrying his sled portage-style. Good practice for the canoe trips in his future. Links to this post.

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. We went on a daytrip to a local zoo with my Mom, Aunt Patti-Lynn, Michelle, Jenn, and all 9 kids. It was a pretty rainy start, but cleared up by lunchtime. We enjoyed a yummy picnic while the kids played in the playground. All the big kids:. Aunt Patti-Lynn caught a baby duck. We wore "Team Tiffany" logos on our backs in honour of my cousin Tiffany who battled (and beat)Leukemia not once, but twice!
