The recipe is super simple! You can change any of the ingredients or flavors! First, cut up strawberries and microwave for 1 minute. You want the strawberries to be juicy and tender. I had to cook for an additional 30 seconds. Next (in a separate bowl), mix yogurt and 1/2 cup lemonade. Freeze for at least 5 hours and enjoy!

I started 2015 nursing an injury, boo shin splints. I felt discouraged and wasn’t sure if I’d be able to run my second marathon (April-Country Music Marathon). February 28, 2015. Cera and I began our run at the warmest part of the day. It was a real feel of 7 degrees F. But it was sunny! And the skies were blue! I used MapMyRun to create three routes. The first route was 6.35 miles and took us through the beautiful Burns Park and Arbor Hills neighborhoods. It was hilly but great. March 14, 2015. Anyway, we STILL had a really nice 16 mile run! The temperature was in the 40s, and the sun was out for about half the time. Cera mapped out a fantastic route taking us through Burns Park/Arbor Hills, Gallup Park, North Campus, Argo/Bandemer Park, the med campus, and central campus. We had two water breaks at the North Campus Intramural Building and the Central Campus Intramural Building. Here’s a photo summary of our run!
