I wrote this poem about a month ago – when some politicians in Europe. Were calling for a ’stop the boats’ policy. Of huge numbers refugees. Dying at sea after fleeing among other things the ravages of ISIS. Thankfully, Europe rejected. The idea of turning refugees back. Fleeing terror are left to starve at sea. So now they cry. We stir the pot.

31 år, dotter, syster, mamma, fru, svägerska, svärdotter, vän, älskad, snäll, lugn. Helt kommit ur detta.kasst! Tiden går i vanlig ordning i ett rasande tempo! Mitten av januari and syrran har flytt landet. Åkte till Kap Verde med killen förra veckan. Hon kommer som tur e hem imorgon natt, jag har abstinens! Jag är så glad att jag har en syster som jag står så nära! Idag är det jobb i vanlig ordning. Det är ett tecken på att man jobbar för mycket när kunderna påpekar att jag verkar vara där alltid ;).

How you do anything. March 25, 2015. In retrospect, I think I was having a hard time taking on big trail running goals because I was just coasting on my life goals. I was literally and figuratively stuck in the middle of the road. Now, I’m enjoying (leisurely) writing the rest of my book, I’m out on the trails enjoying them more than ever, and so far, I’m already registered for another 50K and two 50-milers for this year.
