I feel uncomfortable speaking about things like white privilege and male privilege and other forms of privilege. I don’t like debating about them in the form such debates often take (read: Facebook and Twitter wars). My discomfort stems from the very real lived and academic and disturbing trend of basing ‘transformation’, dialogue and social justice on identity politics.
