Thursday, April 9, 2009. Last week I ran in the Austin American Statesman Capitol 10k. It is quite an event, with somewhere around 17,000 runners and some very entertaining costumes (this year's 2nd place costume winner was a "running nose", not to mention the 1st place "tree-huggers").
