The hard sleeper bunks were comfortable and clean, and I chatted with a fellow traveler whow as in the medical supplies industry. I slept well, and got up around 6am. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. Columbia Heights to the White House. Anyhow, all that extra time waiting around caused me to be running late for my flight out of Dulles Airport, and so I ended up having to take a taxi from West Falls Church after missing the bus there - it was $38! Friday, October 31, 2008. My father and I visited Jiufeng (九份) yesterday, on the advice of a friend from Taichung. Jiufeng is actually close to Taipei, though I had never visited previously. The town is up in the mountains, near the northern coast of Taiwan, and is known for its spectacular views. Here is a map of the place:.
