Walking tour of Salzburg. Statuary is everywhere is Salzburg. Crossing the Salzach by footbridge. The Austrian city of Salzburg, also, called the Festival City, is one of the most beautiful in Europe. Everywhere are beautiful statuary, fountains, flowers, courtyards, and mighty churches and palaces. The Hohensalzburg fortress stands guard above the city as it has since its construction in 1077. The following photos only show a brief glimpse of the beauty and tradition that is Salzburg.

The State Life group's first reception. Tom and Diane Sima. As we've mentioned before, the hotel is magnificent and charming. They catered to our every whim and the food and service was always excellent. Everyone at the State Life conference were terrific and we enjoyed spending the time with them. Dinner in the private dining hall.

The World Trade Center attack happened on our fourth day of the trip and a special thank you goes to all of people who cried, expressed sympathy, and were just there for us. Above is a photo of one of the many buildings in Salzburg flying a black flag, along with all flags at half-staff. Thanks to my egg guy for getting them right! The bartender can now do Irish Coffee!
