Baby boomer women on the verge…. Life on the Verge. March 14, 2014. March 17, 2014. How fitting it is St Patrick’s Day! I felt it was time to get my Irish on and start ruminating, pondering and, I guess, journaling (ugh…don’t like that word much) before all content is drained and gone. So after a successful blog stint with Glenda chronicling our Thelma and Louise travels cross country, why not chronicle all the other little journeys? Mundane, maybe, but hopefully humorous nonetheless.

Baby boomer women on the verge…. Life on the Verge. Susan with fascinator improperly perched on her head. Susan Galbraith Johnson was born in 1958, a solid boomer year, and is thus on the verge of many things: old middle age; empty nesthood; retirement; dotage; a second act; a new beginning; mindlessness or mindfulness depending on the day. This is a blog of observations, random thoughts and musings on the verge. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

Baby boomer women on the verge…. Life on the Verge. April 2, 2014. Life on the Verge. You know those little surveys you find on social media sites? What character in a show, book, movie are you? I was thinking about those which made me think about what super power a future me might have. Super strength? But, I already have a super powerinvisibility! And some of you might have it too. Baby boomer women on the verge…. Life on the Verge. April 21, 2014. I just read a column in the Sunday’s New York Times by Delia Ephron entitled The Season of the Zipper . Thanks goodness I found this enlightening piece. I had the same trouble with my coat zippers this winter just like Delia. But I didn’t know anyone else was having such trouble. I feel a burden of secret humiliation being lifted by knowing someone else has my issue. Finally, the difficulty in actually aligning those 2 little gizmos at t...

Baby boomer women on the verge…. Life on the Verge. April 15, 2014. A few weeks later, she was talking to her dad on the phone. He mentioned that he had received a package from her and that he had taken care of it and right away put it in the freezer so that he and mom could enjoy it later when they wanted. She couldn’t really remember what she might have ordered for them but she was happy they were on top of it. The Zipper Thing →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Baby boomer women on the verge…. Life on the Verge. April 10, 2014. Sue and I decide to invest ourselves in some local history and head to Thomas Alva Edison’s laboratory in West Orange NJ. It’s a National Historic Park and we are keen to learn what Thomas Alva was up to here. We start by heading to his work library which is chock full of local 3. I’m doubtful but then again, we’re talking about a man who lived to do nothing but indulge his passion for inventing. They interject with questions, ooh and aa...
