We went to the Biblical Zoo to celebrate Andrea's birthday 21st birthday! It started out as 8 people going and turned into 40. Thank you to Jaquel who planned the whole thing. These two got engaged. met and engaged in 3 weeks. Congrats Dallin and Kassie! Overall this trip was a blast. Here are just a few highlights! I loved Turkey. Not the food so much. Or the toilets. Wednesday, March 27, 2013. I have a lot of friends going on missions lately. But one of my BESTS gave her farewell on Sunday. She asked me to play the piano while a few of our other friends sang Come Thou Fount, and it was just lovely. Kami is just one of those people who you can see after a few months, and you just go straight back to being best friends. I've been lucky enough to have her around most of my life, and I'm excited for this new adventure she's about to go on! Love you Kami Kami!

Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Last Sunday morning, this cute boy asked me to marry him. The answer was obvious and easy to say. There is nobody in the world I would rather be with forever! I just wanted to be able to shout it from the rooftops that we're GETTING MARRIED! So it would be "convenient" to propose that day before all the festivities! But when he didn't propose on Saturday, I realized that he probably wasn't lying, and he REALLY DIDN'T have the ring yet :(. Looking back, she let us in way too easily.

Monday, January 14, 2013. Ever since I got home from Jerusalem, I've had this weird numbness about the whole experience. I would continually hear people in my group talk about the withdrawals they were experiencing, and I was frustrated at myself that I didn't feel that. Sunday, November 18, 2012. Friday afternoon before Prom, a few of us took a nice little trip out to "Independence Park" in West Jerusalem. I think our Sherut driver was on one that day because it took us about 30 minutes just to pull away from the center, and then he took us to Yad Vashem, and THEN to the Harry Wilf Park instead of Independence Park where we wanted to go.
