Monday, April 15, 2013. Just a Good Story. When we parked the car in the driveway, Anna hurriedly unbuckled herself from her carseat, jumped down out of the car and shouted, "I DID IT! No, Mom. I had water in my mouth the whole way home, and I just swallowed it! I held it the whole way home! And she turned and skipped inside with her pink backpack in tow. Like I said, truly this was a touching moment. Q1 2013 has been good to us. Our little girl turned 5 years old! This is Sam with his buddy, Jake:.

Thursday, April 26, 2012. The Cootie Cloud.and San Antonio. So we have had what I call a "cootie cloud" above our house for the past several weeks. Most of those weeks Matt has been out of town. Oh, how I love cleaning up vomit and diarrhea while managing the house all by myself.NOT! Matt and I never got the stomach bug, but we were. We went to see Shamu last weekend. I was on the tail end of the virus, my eyes were red and looked horrible but I had booked the mini vacay and we were going! The crawfish w...

Saturday, May 19, 2012. While Mommy is away, Daddy took the kids to the neighborhood pool for the first time this year. You can really see how Sam has learned from his swimming lessons. The child is fearless. He refused to wear his floatie, and he just wanted to jump in the pool over and over again. He even took several trips down the slide! Guest post by Matt. Friday, May 18, 2012. Here's a picture of Sam playing in the giant bubble machine:. Then, it was popsicle time! Guest post by Matt. Jenn decided ...

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. One Christmas is never enough. The distance to the moon is about 240,000 miles. The distance to the sun is about 93 million miles. By comparison, the 2,400 miles that we drove this Christmas season should seem like a short trip to the fridge during a commercial break, right? It's all about perspective. Here are the exciting details of our intra-planetary journey. The stockings were hung by the chimney with care. And guarded by ninjas with pirate head-wear. It was great to see ...

Wednesday was the fourth so she brought cookies and krispy treats. Aren't those cookies gorgeous? They tasted great too, I would know.I ate like ten just to make sure! The kids frosted cookies with Ms. Erin, they loved it! Don't quit your day job Sam! Can you tell he decorated an "S"? Not sure why he is making that face. It might. We LOVE ou...

Tuesday, November 15, 2011. This weekend we went to Dewberry Farms with Aunt Jessie and some friends. We had a lot of fun! Aunt Jessie and Anna looking at the animals. There was a huge turkey walking around the barn, Anna didn't really care for him much! Me and Nikki at the bouncy pillows. The kids bounced on the big pillow. Notice the two lazy bones laid out in the middle letting everyone else do the jumping :). Anna going down the big slide. Lily and her Daddy on the slide. Sam Man sliding on his own.

Sunday, October 16, 2011. This weekend Anna had her second dance recital. She takes tap and ballet and loves it! I am so impressed with how much she has learned. There is a recital every eight weeks for the 3-5 year old kiddos, this time she was Tinkerbell. Sam got to give Anna the flowers that Nanna. And Grandpa brought for her. He told her she did an awesome job. So cute! Thursday, October 6, 2011. Last night we took the kids to the park for dinner and playtime. The weather has been beautiful!

Sunday, December 18, 2011. This weekend we had Christmas in Lake Charles! The kids got some new toys to play with, and had fun playing outside. Sam's favorite was his leaf blower. His face was priceless! I think Anna's favorite present were her new princess shoes. I can't wait for this weekend when Santa comes! Sunday, December 11, 2011. The decorations were out for Christmas and the kids loved seeing them too. The tree is HUGE! Sam's dramatic up shot. Wednesday, December 7, 2011.

Tuesday, December 30, 2014. 2014 in Review (Well, some of it anyway.). Well, 2014 nearly passed without a single blog post. There just aren't enough hours in the day to document our lives on Blogspot AND Facebook. Besides, we don't want the Proctor family to suffer from overexposure and risk having our fans turn on us. We cherish all of our blog followers, all four of you. Lake Charles Mardi Gras 2014. We went to Nashville for Kim and Ralph's wedding. We stopped over in Hot Springs, AR. It's bittersweet ...

Monday, October 14, 2013. Farewell, Summertime 2013. Well, September is over. The brutal heat of Summer has given way to the slightly lesser heat of Autumn, so I know it is past time to update the blog. We did so much this Summer that it would take far too long to recap everything, and nobody has time to read all that. I will attempt to synopsize everything using only pictures and the ancient Japanese poetic art of Haiku. Disney trip in May. Six Proctors made memories. Sam is FOUR, not three.
