Monday, July 21, 2014. Tuscany: Monte Argentario Part 6. Midway through our trip, we drove to the breathtaking peninsula of Monte Argentario. At one time, this area was an island. However overtime, sand built up connecting Monte Argentario to the mainland of Italy by the isthmus of Orbetello. So now, it's easy to drive to the former island. Map data @2014 Google. Thursday, March 19, 2015. Feb: Garmisch Part 3. On Monday of this week, I took the boys cross-country skiing since their ski school didn't begin until the next day. While Mike enjoyed a day on the mountain, we enjoyed the sunshine from the valley and learned something new. And as people say, cross country skiing is a great workout! The beautiful German Alps. Day 1 of SKI SCHOOL. Aidan heading up the tow rope. Nice stop, Colin! It was sweet, and I was impressed to see them in the same area so quickly.
