Diary of a Gaijin: June 2012
http://diary-of-a-gaijin.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, 23 June 2012. Snoring, Alcohol, and Naked Japanese Men. Once again, I took the night bus to go to Kobe, this time I wasn't alone! It was meant to be a 4 person trip, but Mr Ron Hurrle and Yuui Sasaki had to drop out. So 'twas just myself and Kristy Jones. In any case, we just knuckled under and tried to sleep. Note the use of the word try. Given that the man was too large for his own seat and had taken up approximately one third of my seat, my options for evading the stench emanating from the m...

Diary of a Gaijin: Things I will and won't miss about Japan
http://diary-of-a-gaijin.blogspot.com/2012/07/things-i-will-and-wont-miss-about-japan.html
Sunday, 22 July 2012. Things I will and won't miss about Japan. So, the time is fast approaching: I have just four weeks left in this incredible country and I'm starting to think about what it'll be like to be home. Many things will likely come up on this list under both categories, because there is some aspect I will love, and some that I will hate. Things I Will Miss. University Life in Japan. Public transport in Tokyo. There is an apology. This sounds so much better than Northern Rail apologising.

Ein Brite im Ausland. Thursday, 15 March 2012. 5 Things I Miss, and 5 Things I Will Miss. I suppose this is an obvious one, but I really do miss lots of people back home; my parents, friends and relatives. I also miss my dogs a lot, too! I know that they'll all be there when I get back though, so I don't really get down about it. Thank goodness for Skype, though! And going back at Christmas to see everyone really did work a tonic. 3 Being Able to Understand Everyone. Things I Will Miss. To the minute....

Ein Brite im Ausland. Tuesday, 5 March 2013. Getting Back into Blogging. Crikey, it's been a while since I've been here. So yes, my hectic life in Japan got the better of me and my blog towards the end of the last term at ICU, but as I'm going to Germany to study for a term at the University of Leipzig in just over three weeks, I thought I ought to get back into the habit of writing this!
