May 15, 2009. Camping at Blue Bird. Craig surprised me with a quick camping trip. He did all the packing (secretly) and he just told me to get in the car. Awesome! We went to Blue Jay Camping Grounds that is pretty close to our house. Our tent was at the Uhlenhoffs. so we decided to sleep in the car. Escape.in the escape. Ha! The view on the way up. Craig packed small marshmallows. but we made the most of it! We stuck the small little guys on a tree branch and roasted.Bear Grillis style- roughin' it!

January 24, 2009. Craig went on a Christian mens retreat to the mountains with Heritage Church. Here are some pics he took. January 11, 2009. Jay gave us tickets to a Ducks game for Christmas. The last 3 years it has snowed early in October (like the first weekend of October last year! And ruins all the colorful leaves, leaving them brown on the ground by mid-October.However, this year, we have been blessed with a relatively warm, beautiful, snow-less fall and I'm loving it! We are thrilled that Olivia will be gaining a sister and a friend she can build many wonderful memories with. My mother and stepfather were the only people who knew the gender of the baby before the party. I mailed the result of our ultrasound off to them the day that we received it.
