Monday, February 6, 2012. Here are a couple of new after pictures. Tyler's back is healed so well that the incisions are a little hard to see in the picture, and I celebrate that! I don't know if I mentioned this before, but Tyler has also grown about an inch since the surgery straightened his spine. Life has pretty much returned to normal! Sara, Brain and Tall. Titled like the infamous book from elementary school, but with a far better spelling of Sara and another minor tweak (given my current circumstances). Graphic pictures: proceed with caution. My incision is pretty large, but the doctors did a great job keeping as much hair around it as possible. I am sure most of you already know that we are having a baby.  If not, SURPRISE! 160; I had my 12 week check-up on wed and everything looks great.  The neat part is they gave us a DVD of the ultrasound so we can watch it whenever we want.  I think I watch it about 4 times a day! 160; ha ha! So I didn't blog on my 1 year anniversary of having brain surgery! So here it goes! 387 days later I'm still here! I'm still breathing and singing and doing a few other things. The Journey We Call Life. Sunday, June 7, 2015. Good Bye my Little Friend. I picked up my wagging tailed basset hound, put him in the front seat (this is a never), went onto the park and decided we would live it up and break the rules. He got to be an off leash free basset. He smelled every tree and bush he could, jumped in the water and just wagged that tail. This was all a little exhausting for both of us, so one of our afternoon traditions, a quick power nap.
