Sunday, January 8, 2012. Holiday Round-Up Christmas Tree. Jason and i were struggling to find the christmas spirit this year. after spending two holiday seasons in one of the most magical places in the world it was hard to feel christmas-y in 80 degree weather. but, we buckled down and pulled out the ho-ho-ho for our sweet baby boy's first christmas! The red and white tent ushered us in and we were ready to tree hunt! Thursday, January 5, 2012. Despite all the craziness around here, we managed to really ...

The Olson Family!: June 2012
http://kurtandpaige.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. At the end of May, Benson, Brylee and I met my Mom and Dad, and my sister and her two little girls in New York City. It was so much fun! I had never been there before and I loved it! I'm pretty sure everybody looked at us like we were crazy taking four little kids in our double strollers all over downtown NYC, I swear we seriously hardly saw any other kids there! We stayed just down the street from FAO Schwarz and so we went to this store a few times, Benson and Addy loved it!

The Olson Family!: February 2011
http://kurtandpaige.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 24, 2011. Benson and I were able to go to Hawaii with my family for the first 2 weeks of February, and we had a blast! One of the favourite morning rituals, going to the hot tub with Grandpa. Right outside of my parent's condo, there are some gorgeous lagoon's that were perfect for Benson and Addy to play at! Addy teaching Benson good oral hygiene. How can you tell her Dad is a future Dentist? PF Chang's, definitely a favourite! Benson loved playing in the sand! View my complete profile.

Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Baby Jane is three months old. She now weighs in at a whopping 11 pounds. She is still wearing three month sized clothing and size one diapers. But, she is definitely growing and changing quickly. In Jane's third month of life she has really become a great sleeper. She is now sleeping 12 to 13 hours at night. One night we put her down at 10 and she didn't wake until nearly noon the next day! The best milestone she has reached this month is that she now laughs. It isn't very ...

Sunday, November 30, 2014. It's Great to Be 8 Months. Beautiful Jane is 8 months old! She weighed in at 16 pounds. She is still wearing size 2 diapers. This month I changed out most of her 6 month sized clothes for 9 month. It is fun to get new things out, but it is hard to put away her tinier clothes. Parenting truly is a paradox - I can't wait for Jane to grow up and yet I want her to stay small and precious forever. And yes, while eating solids she also likes to stick her feet up. A future Rockett...

For the First Thyme...: December 2011
http://forthefirstthyme.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
For the First Thyme. Friday, December 30, 2011. I have to say that although chocolate and banana in a muffin was a kinda weird combination, I did like these muffins quite a bit. I think next time I make them I'll try it without the cocoa and see if I can make them more like a banana chocolate chip muffin. Medium bananas, mashed. 1/4 cup 2 Tbsp unsweetened apple sauce. 1 1/4 cups white whole wheat flour. 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder. 3/4 tsp baking soda. 2 large egg whites. 1/2 tsp vanilla extract.

Sunday, August 30, 2015. Step 2: Balance Bike. We bought this for him for Christmas 2014, anticipating him learning to ride a bike in 2015. Linc didn't love it or use it often, but as we got closer to bike time he used it more and more. Saturday, August 29, 2015. Last month Paxton started 3rd grade. And a week later Lincoln started kindergarten. I drove Lincoln on his first day so I could see him off properly. He played on the playground for a few minutes. Before it was time to line up for class. And jus...

For the First Thyme. Friday, March 22, 2013. I work at Great Harvest Bread in Provo! It's the best job ever! I work Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings from six thirty until one in the afternoon.
