Saturday, December 5, 2015. Pregnant and Bi Polar. When I discovered that I was pregnant I had just started a new full time job that week. I don't have to tell those that struggle with mental illness, how difficult it can be to function without medication. Is it possible to function without medication while battling bi polar disorder or depression? Sure I like to think it is but it's a lot harder.
