Saturday, July 19, 2014. WHERE: Salt Lake City, Utah. WHY: Grandpa turned 90 years old so we threw him a big bash! When my mom asked him if we could throw him a party his response was, "Are you sure? I have a lot of friends.". We had dinner at The Roof Restaurant as a family. We had the party at the lobby of his condo building; he was right - a lot of his friends came! Grandpa made us sing "Happy birthday" to him twice before he blew out his candles :). Grandpa telling everyone to sing to him again.

WHY: Because on all of our previous trips to Maui we always visited the Grand Wailea Resort and said that someday we would vacation there. Diana, again being so generous (and mom as well) made this happen! For some ridiculous reason Dad didn't want to come so we made sure we were home by Christmas Eve. The amazing bathroom in our hotel room. Walks on the beach. Paddle-boarding for the first time. See, I could do it.
