March 29, 2013. When I got home last night, J had surprised me by hanging up the shelf over the stove. Perfect! Less clutter on the counter. Aaah. Friday, March 29, 2013. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). We closed on our home in late 2009 and have been living in and working on our "under construction home" with two cats, one puppy, both working full-time and trying to have a life outside of 1910. Where would we be without our (WI residing) FAMILIES, patient CO friends and Home Depot? A Little R and R.

Tuesday, August 14, 2012. Behind the Scenes, Shark Jaw Necklace. I'm finally getting around to yet another piece that I've been finished with for months but just haven't had time to photograph until now. OH-MY-LA: December 2010
http://oh-my-la.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
A few of my favourite things. Sunday, December 26, 2010. Cosy up next to the fire. That was my favourite activity when I grew up in Macedon - I'd even sit right next to it with a big bowl of ice cream in the dead of winter! So I'm sure you can imagine that I'm looking forward to many moments like this with our new fireplace - and although I know we won't be roasting marshmallows anytime soon, we'll definitely be able to soak up a little ambiance. I always liked the DIY chalkboard idea from JaimeScott.

A few of my favourite things. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. Spring Challenge day 26 (2 days to go). Conditions: sunny and fresh, 15. Attire: jeans, tshirt, sneakers. Another wonderful, easy ride to work. I left home much earlier than usual so that made me smile too! It feels like second nature to pack my panniers and put on my helmet each morning and my commute is now a highlight of my day - especially with a beautiful morning like this one! Links to this post. Tuesday, December 6, 2011. Behind the Scenes: Longhorn Skull Necklace. I've been on a bit of a southwestern/ wild west kick lately. Well, not this time! Carving out of wax:. Cleaning and finishing the casting:. So upon channeling my inner cowgirl, I came across these awesome images by Gil Elvgren. You can only ...
