On Thanksgiving morning, we headed southeast in Mobile Bay, then turned into the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW) our wake behind us frothy with bubbles from the saltwater. Our change in environment is, as Laura put it, "like waking up from a coma." It's refreshing to see blue water, white sand beaches, high rise condos and other signs of habitation.
