This is a rear wheel drive tilting tadpole trike. It featues Prince. Swing arms at the front, with trapeziums to keep the kingpins vertical. The swing arms are perpendicular to each other, on the camber/caster plane. The idea is that the rider controls the tilt, and the front wheels are free-to-caster. Adjusted the backrest angle and seat angle. Added a front caliper brake mount. Added a rear pannier mount. Added a front light mount. To correct the Trail. I cut the main pivot hinge off the Drive Train. I checked the alignment of the rear wheels on the Swing Arms. Binder on the Drive Train stem. Welded the Seat Frame.

Jetrike is a new lean steer recumbent trike design that features self-centering tilt geometry. Its tilting mechanism works independently from the steering. It uses the riders weight to remain centered as the trike becomes stationary. I designed and built a blower spray unit for our farm, in order to control powdery mildew and white fly on our winter pumpkin crops. The unit was built from readily available materials and off the shelf parts. Designing and building farm implements is a hobby of mine.

See it in operation, asf video here. Why create a blower spray? This little fellow is a white fly. Some how enough of these can absolutely devastate a winter pumpkin crop if you don't keep them in check. The plans were designed and drafted in SolidWorks using weldment structural members. This was one of my earlier attempts at creating plans with this software, so they are not quite as refined as more recent ones. This produces a cut list table. Which is very handy.
